Bio
Jaison McKeithan is a football coach and educator dedicated to developing young men through the game of football. A native of Prattville ,AL , McKeithan combines his playing experience, leadership background, and passion for mentorship to create a positive impact on student-athletes both on and off the field.
McKeithan earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in African American Studies from Mississippi College, where he was a member of the football program from 2019 to 2024. During his collegiate career, he played both offensive and defensive line positions while gaining valuable experience in Triple Option offensive concepts and multiple defensive schemes, including the 3-3 Stack and 4-2-5 defenses.
Prior to Mississippi College, McKeithan played defensive line at Prattville High School and G.W. Carver High School, developing a strong foundation in defensive football and team leadership. His playing career helped shape the values that now define his coaching approach: discipline, accountability, hard work, and servant leadership.
In 2025, McKeithan became the Head Football Coach and Assistant Baseball Coach at Eastwood Middle School in Cottonwood, Alabama. In this role, he is responsible for developing athletes, building team culture, organizing practices, and mentoring students academically and personally. His coaching philosophy centers on the belief that football is more than a game—it is a vehicle for teaching life lessons, building character, and preparing young people for future success.
Known for his energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to player development, McKeithan emphasizes attention to detail, situational football, and purposeful practice. He believes every drill, every rep, and every interaction is an opportunity to teach, lead, and inspire.
As he continues his career in education and athletics, McKeithan remains committed to helping student-athletes reach their full potential while pursuing his long-term goal of becoming a Division I Head Football Coach. His mission is simple: develop disciplined athletes, strong leaders, and successful young men who will make a positive impact in their communities.
